Is Hurdling disabled in Fortnite? Yes, it has been turned off for a few hours. It was first used in Chapter 4 of Season 1 of Fortnite. After less than two weeks, the mechanic was taken out of the game. The official account tweeted the same thing, but it didn’t say exactly why.

Is Hisabled in Fortnite - Explained

Epic Games only says they have temporarily turned off Hurdling because of a problem. But players will still be able to use Mantle to overcome higher obstacles. Still, no one knows when it will be put back into the game.

Why did Epic Games take away the ability to Hurl in Fortnite?

Hurdling has been turned off in Fortnite, but no one has said why. However, the community seems to have a good idea. Many players have said that they were shot into the air while trying to Hurdle over things in the game.

When they try to Hurdle over low things, they are shot straight into the air or thrown far away and killed immediately. Few people were lucky enough to survive the fall with the help of a Shockwave Hammer or the Party Time Augment.

At first, people thought this was a one-off, but it’s far from the only time this has happened. Many professional and amateur players have talked about this problem. Many even wonder why Epic Games waited so long to turn it off since it caused problems for many people during the $1,000,000 MrBeast Cash Cup.

Still, there’s no way to know when a fix will be made. Since this mechanic was just added, it will take some time for the developers to figure out what’s wrong. Hurdling won’t be available for at least a few days.

The problem where you can’t run in Fortnite hasn’t been fixed yet.

Hurdling has been taken out of the game. The developers still haven’t fixed the “cannot sprint” bug after more than a week. Without the ability to sprint, other mechanics like Mantling and Hurdling, which have since been taken away, are almost completely useless.

The only things players can do are Slide downhill and Mantle nearby things. If you try to jump over a big gap, you will fail. There is a way around it, which is good, but it’s not the best. If this happens during a game, the player will have to leave the game and go back to the lobby to start a new one.

This is the only way to turn back on the game’s mechanics. Even though it’s not a big deal, players must go back to the lobby and wait in line again, which slows down the game.

So that this doesn’t happen during a match, players should try out all types of movement during the time before the match. Wait until the Battle Bus takes off to see if everything works as planned.

If Sprint doesn’t work, players can leave the match without losing a lot of time or hurting their K/D ratio in the game. These problems should be fixed soon, hopefully, before the Fortnite Winterfest 2022 event ends.
