Kelly Pichardo had already pleaded guilty to the Class C felony charge against her. The department said in the release that Pichardo was also given 36 months of supervised release and had to pay $9,123 back to American Airlines.
Court records show that the sentence was given on August 29.
The release says that Pichardo and her co-“disorderly defendant’s and intimidating behavior” on an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Los Angeles in February 2021 caused the flight to be rerouted to Phoenix so that the two could be taken off the plane.
