    According to accounts, a budding sports star from Dale College was sadly discovered dead after being reported missing.

    The search for missing Dale College student Lisakhanya Lwana has ended in tragedy, according to Dispatch Live, with his family identifying his body at Bhisho Hospital on Tuesday.

    The brilliant teenage rugby and cricket player, who was reported missing after being left at a hiking spot, was last seen alive on Saturday, according to reports.

    According to the article, he is suspected of being the victim of a hit-and-run accident.

    Lwana’s body was discovered on the R63 between Qonce and Masingata on Sunday, according to police.

    The victim had multiple injuries, according to spokeswoman Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, and they believe he was the victim of a hit-and-run.

    “Lisakhanya envisioned himself pursuing sports management at varsity, he was going to take the sports route since he was brilliant at it,” his heartbroken father Daluxolo Lwana said.

    “He was a visionary and played for the first team in both cricket and rugby. Lisakhanya always evnisioned himself representing the country in both codes. My son imagined he would wear South African colours for sports, that was his dream.”

    Dale College expressed their condolences, and described the teenager as a “skilled sportsman” with a “fantastic sense of humour”.
