NHS Nurse Areema Nasreen Died at Friday, April 2, 2020, Fighting against COVID-19 (Coronavirus) at Walsall Manor Hospital where she also worked for 16 years. 36-Year-Old Areema Nasreen, had been on a ventilator at Walsall Manor Hospital, BBC reported.

Areema Nasreen was mother of Three Children. The husband of Areema Nasreen has confirmed the 36-year-old NHS nurse who was believed to have had no underlying health conditions died last night after testing positive for COVID-19 two weeks ago

Later this morning, Her death has been confirmed also by Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust’s chief executive Richard Beeken.

Mr Richard Beeken said they had hoped to take Ms Nasreen off the ventilator as she had started to show signs of improvement but she then deteriorated.

Areeema Nasreen, who was from Walsall, developed symptoms of Coronavirus on 13 March, including aches, a high temperature and then a cough. She tested positive for the virus last Friday.

Speaking to Sky News early last week, Ms Nasreen’s sister Kazeema, 22, said her normally fit and healthy sister had been on annual leave when she first started showing symptoms of Coronavirus.

Her Fellow nurse Rubi Aktar has paid tribute to Ms Nasreen on social media: “She was the most loveliest, genuine person you could ever meet, she went above and beyond for everyone she met.

“I am so broken that words can’t explain. I can’t believe I will not see your smile again.”

Dr Tory Fibs said in a tweet “Our NHS Staff are the best of Us. So many grieving relatives, including children left behind.”

West Midlands mayor Andy Street tweeted: “Such tragic news this morning, my heart goes out to Areema’s family and three children.

“Frontline workers across the West Midlands are risking their lives day after day to protect us, the least we can do to help them is follow government advice.”
