How to turn off Parental Controls in Fortnite, step by step

    1) Open Fortnite and choose “Options Menu.”

First, turn on the game and look for the small settings icon in the top left corner of the screen. The icon has three lines that go in the same direction. When you click on it, a new menu will appear.

    2) Go to “Settings” and find the tab called “Parental Controls.”

Once loaded, look for the icon with three parallel lines and a clog in the middle. You’ll be given a new set of choices when you click on it. Find the button that says “Parental Controls” and click on it. This is the easiest way to get rid of Parental Controls in Fortnite.

    3) Type in the 6-digit PIN to get into the settings.

The hard part will be remembering the 6-digit pin used to make the parental lock. If your parents don’t want to tell you these things, you won’t be able to move on. If you know the PIN, you can enter it to move on.

    4) To turn off Parental Controls in Fortnite, look for the “Disable” button and press it.

Once you’re in the main Parental Control section, you can change many settings. Go ahead and press the “Disable” button for now. Press “Confirm” when prompted to turn off Parental Controls in Fortnite.

How can I turn off Parental Controls in Fortnite without using the 6-digit pin?

Epic Games takes Parental Controls very seriously, so there is no way to get around them. Making a new account won’t help because players must enter their credit card numbers to prove they are over 18.

In this situation, if a player doesn’t know the 6-digit PIN, the only thing they can do is wait a few years to get older. The “Forgot Pin” button can change the 6-digit PIN, but it will only work if the player has access to the email address linked to their Epic Games account.
