TikTok star Anna Shumate faces backlash and criticism for making Racist Jokes and comments about Jews and other races on her burner TikTok account.

Anna Shumate allegedly commented on her burner TikTok account: “I like my bacon how I like my Jews. Burnt and crispy.” See the screenshot, below.

According to details, TikToker Anna Shumate exposed for allegedly liking and commenting racist and anti-Semitic things on her burner TikTok account. One of the comments, Anna liked, reads, “I’m not racist I have an African-American in my family tree… it’s just hanging.”

Their are half dozens of Screenshots circulating on Twitter which shows racist jokes and comments in a thread started by Anna Shumate on the name of dark humour.

A Twitter user “Mads” shared all of the Screenshots of Anna Shumate’s jokes in a thread and wrote in the caption: “anna shumate is gross….” See the tweet containing all the Screenshots of her jokes and comments.

Anna Shumate responded to the situation on Twitter by saying “I’m currently on a flight home and I wish the timing was better but I will be speaking on the situation when I land and am back home.”

Who is Anna Shumate

Born on November 6, 2002, in Michigan, Anna Shumate is an American social media star best known for her comedy videos, POV videos and dance videos on the video sharing platform TikTok. Anna first joined TikTok as a joke without any plans, just to see what would happen, and a few weeks later, she had reached over millions of followers. Her TikTok account ID is @annabananaxdddd.

She has amassed more than 10.5 million total TikTok fans. She played soccer for Grosse Ile High School of Grosse Ile Township, Michigan. She was part of Top Talent House before the group dissolved in November 2020. In 2020, she became a member of Not a Content House; she later became part of Just A House.

Anna Shumate has 2.6 million followers on her burner TikTok account where she allegedly made racist jokes recently.

Update: TikToker Anna Shumate apologizes for “dark humor” jokes and racist comments 

TikToker Anna Shumate recently found herself on the receiving end of online flak after Twitter users found evidence of racist and xenophobic humor originating from her alternate account. Twitter users have been on a cancelation crusade recently, bringing to light incidents from influencers’ past as grounds to call for their immediate removal from online platforms.

Streamer Disguised Toast and Anna Shumate are the latest targets. Anna Shumate has responded in full to the allegations, which can be seen below.

Within 24 hours of people bringing the controversial jokes to light, Anna Shumate has released a complete apology regarding the incident:

“I’m here apologizing about the video that I made around a year ago on my spam account. I was asking for dark humour jokes and liking and commenting on other people’s dark humour jokes which was really unacceptable to me and the ones that I liked and commented back to were very unacceptable and wrong in so many ways. I am here to say sorry to everyone that I have affected with that video and those comments.”

Stating that it was her fault for making that video, she doesn’t ask for sympathy from her audience and states that she should have known better.

The controversy started with a host of inappropriate jokes such as “I’m not racist I have an African-American in my family tree… it’s just hanging” being liked and commented on by Anna Shumate.

Anna Shumate later said on Instagram “No you don’t have to accept my apology I just wanted you all to listen to what I had to say.”

“At the end of the day I am human I make mistakes and this is a very large mistake that I will be learning and growing from,” Anna Shumate added.

Deeming the jokes to be in poor taste, Twitter immediately brought the posts to the TikToker’s attention and demanded an apology, something they have now received. How the TikTok star moves past this henceforth remains to be seen
