As part of the Week 4 Challenges for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, players must hunt a Frog from a distance of five meters or less. Those who finish the task will get 16,000 XP as a reward. Even though the challenge is easy to complete, it is not easy to find a frog.

To find this hard-to-find creature on the island in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1, you will have to look around for a while. Even though their spawn points are more or less fixed, it will be hard to find a few because the game’s mechanics are based on random number generators (RNG).

A step-by-step guide to finding Frogs in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

Even though it makes sense that they would be near and in water, this is not always the case in the game. Frogs can also be found on land from time to time. Still, the best place to look for Frogs in the game is in and around streams.

One is between Frenzy Fields and Faulty Splits, and the other is between Faulty Splits and Slappy Shores. Since these streams flow for a long time, players should be able to find a safe place along the water’s edge to look for Frogs.

Another good place to look for frogs on the island is in and around the small bodies of water. You can find Frogs in places like Lute Lake, Forest Forge, the body of water south of Shattered Slabs that aren’t marked, and Anvil Square.

The Citadel is also an excellent place to land because there is a lot of water in and around the POI, but it is best to avoid landing there because it is “sweaty.” Even if players go to these places, there’s no guarantee they’ll find a Frog.

Why is it so hard to find frogs in Fortnite?

Due to their size, they are tough to spot right away. Even when audio visualization is turned on, you can’t always hear them move. With all the greenery on the island, they seem to blend in with the plants, making it harder to find them quickly.

Frogs are fast, which makes things even worse. Even though these creatures are small, they can move at lightning speed to escape players. Since the challenge is to kill them from five meters or less away or closer, players won’t be able to kill them from far away.

Still, if players are patient, they should be able to find one in every match. Playing with a group should make this challenge easier by letting players cover more ground early on and find a Frog or two. Then, they can choose who gets rid of it to finish the challenge.

So, a whole team should be able to finish the challenge throughout a few games. If all else fails, get a Trail Thrasher Dirt Bike, move around quickly to cover more ground, and hopefully run into a Frog in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1.
