PTA to Ban PUBG in Pakistan

After a division bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) headed by Justice Atir Mahmood heard the petition, PTA was directed to decide on the matter of whether to ban PUBG in Pakistan within six weeks.

If Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) does go forward with the ban, Pakistan would not be the first country to take such action against the game as some other countries have already banned the popular online game.

Jordan is one of the countries which ban on PUBG back in 2019 after citing the game having negative effects which eventually led to the game being banned in the country.
