“India has gone to dogs” Former Cheif justice of the supreme court of India, Justice (R) Markandey Katju hits on Narendra Modi and his government after the recent violence by ABVP goons against the students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

In a tweet published on January 8, 2020, Justice Markandey Katju said: “India has gone to dogs.”

In a wave of violence on January 4, Students from JNU were attacked by Masked ABVP goons. This is not the first attack on the students in India during the past few weeks. Several other universities were also attacked by Police and RSS Members indulged in police uniform.

BJP government is trying to crush the protests against the recent amendment in citizenship law of India which is called “Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). In order to do that, BJP sent its goons to scare the students of JNU and to stop them from participating in the protests. Watch the brutality of Indian Police in the video, below.

After receiving criticism from extremist Hindus and nationalist, Justice Markandey Katju said that he stands on his statement. His tweet reads: “I had earlier said India has gone to dogs. I stand corrected. It has gone to cows Gomata ki Jai.”
