Karachi: 29 June 2020: More than 1,000 traders and staff were present in the building of Pakistan stock exchange (also Known as Karachi Stock Exchange) the time of attack, according to the reports. At least seven people have been killed in an attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange building in the country’s financial hub of Karachi.
The dead included a policeman, two guards and the four attackers, rescue service chief Faisal Edhi told. Watch the video footage of the Scene, below.
The gun-men attacked the building with grenades and guns. Abid Ali, director of the Pakistan Stock Exchange, told reporters that four attackers entered the compound and started firing but the situation was now under control.
The building is in a high-security zone and also houses the head offices of many private banks.
